How to change / update RATE MODE under Revenue Control ?

STAAH MAX - How to change / update RATE MODE under Revenue Control ?

This option allows you to change the rate mode on revenue control

Dynamic Mode - Rates are calculated using setup applied in Seasons, Dynamic Pricing, & Formula when Revenue Management System is enabled.

Manual Mode – Rates are updated manually and will override Dynamic Pricing/Formula settings 

If you manually update the rate from Revenue Control Panel or Bulk Update, Rate mode will change from Dynamic to Manual
Manual rate will no longer have the “Season” indicator


How to update Rate Mode on Availability & Rates Tab

Login > Setup > Availability & Rates > Rate Mode


Select Rate Mode > Select Room Type > Update Date Range




2. How to Update Rate Mode Using Revenue Control Tab

Login > Setup > Availability & Rates > Revenue Control

Revenue Control Panel > Control Options > Mode
Click on Control Options Dropdown – Select Rate Mode 
4Un-select/Select the radio button to change the mode from Manual to Dynamic or vice versa and click update.


3. How to Update Rate Mode Using Mode option on Revenue Control 

Login > Setup >  Availability & Rates > Revenue Control

Revenue Control Panel > Mode



Select Rate Mode > Select Room Type > Update Date Range
Click on Save to update the changes.
