What is the Event Calendar?
The Event Calendar is a calendar under the Setup/Settings tab. This gives you the ability to mark a specific date as an event. This acts as a reminder to your property to check that rates and restrictions are in place for this event.
How do I view the Event Calendar?
To set up, login and go to setup > event calendar. To add an event, click on the desired date. Enter event details in the pop-up box. You can add multiple events.
Public Holiday Flag
You can also mark an event as a public holiday using a flag. Simply check the box.
If the public holiday flag is enabled, the flag in the calendar grid is green instead of orange.
Display
Note that the dates will look different depending on availability. When your event is added, the date displayed will be grey. Green indicates that a room is available, and red indicates that a room is not available.
