STAAH Max V2 - Apa itu Ketersediaan Drip Feed dan bagaimana cara kerjanya?

The Drip Feed Availability feature allows you to limit the maximum number of rooms available for a specific room type or date range for different channels. The Drip Feed Availability feature allows you to set a limit on the maximum number of rooms available to OTAs, for a specific room type or date range.


The Drip Feed Availability feature allows you to set limits on the maximum number of rooms available to OTAs (Online Travel Agents) for a specific room type or date range. 
Currently all rooms in STAAH MAX, are sent to their respective OTAs (10 rooms in STAAH – 10 rooms sent to OTAs – meaning all 10 rooms are bookable).

Example
      o If you submit a Studio Room, which has a total of 10 rooms;
      o and for December (full month) you want a maximum of 5 rooms available
      o You can now use Drip Feed to manage the maximum number of rooms available to OTAs for each room type.

If you do not have access to this module, please contact your partner service team.

From the Availability & Rates tab, simply select the channel you want to apply the limit to, then select the limit from the Rules menu.

Drip Feed restrictions set at the Base Rate level will apply to all connected channels.


Next, set the Drip Feed restrictions. By clicking outside the date selection box, the Drip Feed options will appear.



What do the different Drip Feed options mean?
You will see that there are 3 options available in the Drip Feed restrictions dropdown menu.


Off - Drip Feed has not been set, this is displayed as 'OFF', indicating that no Drip Feed is applied.
Closed – Allows you to push 0 inventory for a room/channel type, without reducing inventory, for example. 
      o Standard rooms have 5 available.
      o For a specific day, you want to offer this room directly through the Booking engine
      o Set the restriction to closed, this will trigger 0 inventory to the channel for the selected room type.
Allotment – ​​Acts like a counter and will limit the number of bookings that can be made for that Room type through the channel. Set a value, when a booking is accepted, the Drip Feed limit is reduced, for example.
      o Standard rooms have 5 available.
      o The limit is set at 3, because you only want a total of 3 bookings for this room/channel type.
      o When an order is received, the Drip Feed restriction is reduced (e.g. 1 order received now becomes 2)
      o Does not apply to renewals set at the Base Rate level.


Number – Allows you to set the maximum number of rooms available on a channel for the specified room/channel type.
      o Standard rooms have 5 available.
      o The limit is set at 3
      o Maximum 3 available rooms can be booked through the channel.
      o When inventory is below Drip Feed restrictions, availability shipped is based on what is available.

CATATAN:
Drip Feed = OFF => berarti fitur drip feed tidak tersedia
Drip Feed = Closed => kami mengirim 0 inventaris ke channel meskipun ada ketersediaan.
Drip Feed = 1 hingga 10 => Jika 5 dan ketersediaan = 10, kami selalu mengirim 5 inventaris ke channel.

Apa yang terjadi jika Drip Feed ditetapkan untuk Base Rate, tetapi untuk channel itu OFF?
Secara default, semua saluran akan memiliki nilai yang sama dengan yang kami miliki pada tingkat Base Rate. Jadi, jika Drip feed ditetapkan untuk Base Rate untuk kamar mana pun, maka drip feed yang sama akan diterapkan ke semua channel. tetapi pada tingkat channel, jika kami menetapkannya sebagai OFF atau mungkin nilai lain pada kamar induk, itu akan menggantikan nilai yang telah kami tetapkan pada Base Rate. Jadi pada dasarnya, secara default semua channel akan memiliki nilai pengaturan yang sama dengan yang kami miliki pada Base Rate.

Pada log untuk Channel, kami tidak dapat menemukan data Drip Feed. Mengapa demikian? 
Opsi Drip feed hanya untuk aplikasi/channel manager kami dan tidak didukung oleh OTA mana pun, jadi saat mengirim data ke channel, kami tidak mengirimkan data drip feed kepada mereka. Kami mengelola fungsionalitas drip feed secara internal dan mengirimkan inventaris ke OTA berdasarkan konfigurasi di pihak kami.
Kami melihat opsi Drip Feed tidak terlihat untuk beberapa channel pada tab Availability di MAX V2. Mengapa demikian?
Opsi Drip Feed hanya akan tersedia untuk parent room. Jika tidak ada parent room yang dipetakan ke channel, drip feed untuk parent room & child room tidak akan ditampilkan.
