STAAH Max V2 – Agoda Content Management

What is new? Content capabilities have arrived! We are introducing content management via MAX V2.

The Agoda content flow is similar to the mapping flow of Booking.com, so the new enhancements will be familiar. 
  1. Mapping Options:
  2. Map to an existing Agoda listing
  3. Create a new listing
  4. Create a new room type
  5. Create a new rate plan and link to an existing room type
  6. Manage content for an existing Agoda listing

Create a new listing on Agoda:
  1. Enable Agoda
  2. Click on tile
  3. On the mapping page, click on MAP for a room type
  4. Pop up with 2 options
  5. Select 'Create New Property On Agoda


The setup wizard will launch and there are 3 sections to complete - Property Information, Room Information and Rate Information. Follow the prompts.

Once the property is setup and response received from Agoda, the user will be diverted back to the mapping page.



An email with instructions on where to sign the Agoda contract will be sent to the registered reservation email address in MAX. The user has to login to MAX to accept Agoda contract. Please note the 'Sign Contract' button is only visible to property login user. The button is not visible to Super Admin users.

It is possible to continue with mapping without accepting the contract. Please note however, unless the contract is accepted, the Agoda listing will not go LIVE on the customer site.
Once the contract is accepted, the contract status is updated in MAX. There is no option to view the contract from MAX. The property can login to Agoda extranet to view/ check their contract.

Example: Contract Signed - This is visible to Super Admin users.
 
How to update content?
Click 'Content and Mapping' button > Select 'Update Profile Details On Agoda > Diverted to wizard > Follow the prompts and complete the wizard setup



How to create new rate plan or link existing rate plan to a room?

Click 'Content and Mapping' or 'Map' button > Select 'Create New Rate Plan or Link Existing Rate Plan To Room' > Diverted to 'Rate Information' tab in the wizard > Follow the prompts and complete the wizard setup




Note: The below property categories are only permitted to have 1 rate plan.

Villa
Boat/ Cruise
Bungalow
Chalet
Country House
Home Stay
Farm Stay
Holiday Park/ Caravan Park
Tent
Riad
Serviced Apartment
Home

If you try to create a second rate plan, an error will be returned. Moving forward, we will implement a validation to prevent users from creating a second rate plan if the property is in this category.



How to create a new room type?

Click 'Map' button > Add New Room / Manage Existing Room On Agoda > Next > Select or Create New Room/ Rate Plan On Agoda > Follow the prompts and complete the wizard setup







Manage property content for an existing Agoda listing



Mapping already exists in MAX. The property would like to manage content from MAX.
Map > Select 'Manage Agoda Property Profile' > Diverted to the wizard > Data will be pulled in from Agoda > Follow the prompts and complete the wizard setup

Data will be pulled in from Agoda except for images. 




Manage room content for an existing Agoda listing

Mapping already existing in MAX. The property would like to manage room content from MAX.

Map > Select 'Add New Room / Manage Existing Room On Agoda' > Select 'Manage Content For An Existing Room On Agoda' > Follow the prompts and complete the wizard setup.

Data will be pulled in from Agoda except for images.



On the next screen, select 'Manage Content For An Existing Room On Agoda > Select the Channel Room > Next >
Follow the prompts and complete the wizard setup.
