This feature allows property to manage Mobile rates on Booking.com via STAAH MAX extranet.

How mobile rates work on Booking.com?

Mobile rates are only visible to guests using the Booking.com app or mobile browsers.
A minimum discount of at least 10% should be applied.
Mobile rates apply to all your rooms and rate plans. The discount stacks on top of Genius discounts as well as any other promotions you’ve set up. However, it doesn’t get added to Country Rates or Deal of the Day.
You can pick 30 days each calendar year to deactivate mobile rates.

Activate mobile rate and offer on Booking.com to tap into this valuable and expanding traveller segment. With a few easy clicks, you are all set to go.

All STAAH MAX subscribers with connection to Booking.com enabled 
No additional cost to enjoy this feature
 
Where is this found?
  1. Login to MAX Extranet > Channels Module > OTA Promotion

Click on ‘Add Promotion’

Select Channel to apply Promotion: ‘Booking.com’ and Promotion Type: ‘Mobile Rate’.


Follow prompts and complete as required.



Promotion requirements:


Platform: We recommend to offer discounts to both ‘App and Mobile web’ users, as not all bookers have downloaded app. This is to ensure you reach a wider audience.

Discount: Only % is supported. Minimum 10% discount applied

Blackout dates: Select dates when this Promotion is not applicable. The promotion can't have more than 30 blackout dates. 

Discount applies to all your room and rate plans offered on Booking.com. This discount stacks on top of Genius discounts as well as any other promotions you have set up. However, it doesn’t get added to Geo (Country) Rates or Deal of the Day

Click on SAVE to create promotion


When promotion is successfully created and submitted to Booking.com, success message is returned to confirm Mobile Rates setup correctly, and it will appear as under on the OTA promotion page:




View > To see discount details
Edit > You are only allowed to change discount value and add or remove blackout dates. 
Delete > This action will delete the Mobile discount

Logs: Tracking logs available. All changes are tracked.
Can be tracked via Reports > Activity Logs > Log Type: OTA Promotion
