STAAH Max V2 - Booking Engine - SwiftBook - Day Use Packages
A ‘day use’ room typically refers to a hotel room or accommodation that is rented out for a portion of the day rather than for an overnight stay. It is ideal for guests who need a space to freshen up, relax, or work between meetings or during a layover.
The feature is now available and supported on the SwiftBook booking engine.
Where to set up a day use offering for SwiftBook?
Booking Engine > BE Packages
1. Click on ‘+ ’ to create a new package or you can also edit an existing package.
2. To activate the day use offering, select the ‘Package for day use’ flag by checking the box
3. On the package details page, a day use package is highlighted by an icon.

Enabling the ‘package for day use’ flag automatically prompts a ‘Day Use’ selection on the booking engine widget.

1. When the ‘day use’ option is selected, the widget will only have ‘check-in’ date option.
2. On the confirmation page and in the booking email confirmation, the check in and check out date will be the same.
Additional information
1. The Day Use rate is not supported by Google. To avoid parity issues, Day Use data is not synced to Google.
2. For PMS connected properties, Day Use bookings are delivered to PMS as per normal (Different departure date).
• If the PMS supports the same date for arrival and departure, we can enable the Day Use feature and pass the same arrival and departure date in the booking.
• This Day Use feature is enabled for a few PMS. If there are any other PMS that can support day use, simply contact the technical team to arrange with the PMS partner.
• The PMS that supports day use feature are:
o Innkey
o Lucid
o Protel

1. The booking will display the same arrival and departure date.
Reports
All reports with booking details information will indicate same arrival and departure date.
