You can set value-adds on create or on edit:
• Create new rate plan or link existing rate plan to room (Map a room)
• Edit a rate plan (Click on icon next to OTA Rate ID)
Value-adds are managed at rate plan level > Click on icon.
Scroll down to the Value Adds section.
1. The collection name is only for internal use. The name is not displayed on the customer site.
2. On the Booking.com extranet, user need to do 2 steps to offer value adds. 1) Create a bundle with different value adds and give it a collection name (Similar to library concept). 2) Attach a collection to a rate/ room. However via the API, the process has been simplified. They do not need to create the bundle. They simply add a collection name and attach up to maximum 5 value-adds.
3. The collection name can be used more than once.
4. The value-adds catalogue is predetermined by Booking.com. Click on the drop down to view/ select.
5. For some value-adds, you need to indicate an amount. The specified amount is used only for display purposes on Booking.com and to show the benefit of the specific value-added service. The room rate indicated is the final price shown to the guest.
NOTE:
Currently value adds information is not included
in booking received from booking.com. They however have plans to add this data
in booking xml.
